About DU Club Figure Skating
Figure Skating at the University of Denver is a club sport, guided and supported by the University's Student Club Sport Program.
Club Sports at the University of Denver brings together groups of students with similar interests to organize and participate in a specific sport and/or recreational sporting activity. It is a dynamic organization on the DU campus, committed to developing students as active members of the University community.
As an approved club sport, DU Club Figure Skating allows students of all skill levels to use their existing sporting skills to develop leadership, budgeting, and teamwork skills. Our club officers create an annual team budget, fund raise, schedule competitions and practices, and host performances and competitions. Most importantly, with the support of the University, DU Club Figure Skating provides competitive opportunities for DU students, allows them to continue skating, and promotes figure skating on the DU campus.
